“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
A Season of Miracles and Mourning
It’s been a while since I’ve shared from this space, and when I look back over these last years, I see a road marked by both miracles and mourning—mountaintops and deep valleys. Through it all, one thing has held steady: worship.
Many of you may remember our long season of dialysis with my husband, Freddy — a chapter that tested our strength and deepened our faith in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Those nine months were filled with trust, tears, and tenacity. It wasn’t a quick miracle; it was a slow, refining one.
After walking through the heartbreak of our first donor being denied, God began writing a new part of the story — one we never saw coming. A 25-year-old young woman we had once pastored as a young adult stepped forward to become Freddy’s kidney donor. Her selfless “yes” changed everything. It was nothing short of a miracle — a reminder that even when we can’t see it, God is always working behind the scenes.
“Hope Despite the Heartache.”
Those four words have carried me through my own valley and have become the foundation of every song, story, and resource I’ve shared since.
When the Valley Came
Six years later, everything changed again. In May of 2023 — just five days after our 23rd wedding anniversary — my husband and best friend, Freddy, went home to be with Jesus. Losing him was the heartbreak I never imagined facing. The days that followed were a blur of grief, questions, and the slow, sacred work of remembering how to breathe..
In the middle of it all, I found myself returning to the piano. Sometimes in tears, sometimes in silence—always in worship. That sacred space became my lifeline once again — my way of saying: Even here, You are still worthy.
Holding onto Hope
In the dark nights and the long days, the Lord met me with small but steady whispers of Hope. I learned that real, lasting Hope isn’t fragile or dependent on circumstances—it’s found in Christ alone.
From that place came the Names of God Devotional, born from learning who He is in the storm, and the Grief Scripture Cards, woven from nights spent clinging to His promises when I had no words left of my own.
And now, something that’s been growing quietly in my heart:
The Hope Collection — apparel created to wear the message of Hope, no matter the heartache you’ve faced.
My prayer is that as you wear these pieces, read the words, and reflect on the truth behind them, you’ll be reminded to cling to the One who is our Hope. Even in seasons of loss, disappointment, or uncertainty, your Heavenly Father is for you, with you, and will carry you every step of the way.

As I look back on the miles between grief and grace, I can say with confidence: the same God who met me in the valley walks with me now. Thank you to every friend, prayer warrior, and encourager who has stood beside me through the highs and lows. Your love has been one of the ways God has reminded me: I am not alone.
