I think we all can relate to walking through unexpected circumstances and having to choose to either embrace the journey or shrink back into despair.
It seems that the December month along with the holidays, festivities and celebrations with friends and family often bring reminiscent thoughts of the past year. Memories of the struggles the victories; the pain, sorrow, and heartache, yet the glorious and joyous occasions as well; each one special in its unique way.
Those seasons where He calls us to ‘just be’. And for those who are ‘doers’ it can be quite challenging.
A New Year….always brings fresh perspective and brings a bit of “let’s conquer the world” mindset. And if you are like me, many goals on the New Year’s List will get accomplished and then there are those “other things” that might just not get achieved for one reason or the other.
As a leader of worship, I have learned through the course of life – my “stage/platform” is more than just a Sunday morning or Wednesday evening event.
