A Song for the In-Between

There are seasons where faith feels strong and steady.

And then there are seasons where the prayer is quieter…

where the future feels uncertain…

and where you’re simply trying to keep holding on to God in the middle of what you don’t understand.

That’s the space this song was born from.

“Even So” was written during a deeply personal season of grief and rebuilding — a season where I wrestled with loss, questions, healing, and what it means to keep trusting God when life doesn’t look the way you hoped it would.

Not because I had all the answers.

Not because the pain disappeared.

But because somewhere in the middle of it all, God was still there.

I think sometimes we imagine faith as something loud and unwavering.

But I’ve learned that sometimes faith sounds more like a whisper.

Sometimes faith looks like simply saying:

“God… I still trust You here.”

“Even now.”

“Even so.”

This song became a declaration before it became a release.

A reminder that grief and hope can exist together.

That sorrow and faith can sit in the same room.

And that God is still present in the in-between places of our lives.

If you’re walking through a season where things feel uncertain, heavy, or unresolved, I pray this song reminds you that you are not alone there.

And maybe… even here…

God is still writing something beautiful.
