There can be a quiet fear that joy somehow dishonors what was lost.
That if you laugh again, rest again, dream again, or begin to hope again… it somehow means you’ve left someone or something behind.
But love does not disappear when joy returns.
You do not have to choose between remembering and healing.
Both can exist together.
You are allowed to carry love with you — while also making room for new moments of peace, hope, and joy.
Healing does not erase love.
Sometimes it simply teaches us how to carry it differently.
